Jan-Peter Eicker will be your representative upon your arrival at La Maddalena.
He speaks German, English and Italian.

Jan will welcome you drive on the port, you get off the ferry. It will take you to the Villa Belò and will proceed with you to the check-in and key collection to 16 h (this schedule may be advanced, in agreement with him).

The check-out will also be done with Jan at 10 a.m. the day of your departure, and if necessary, it will lead back to the port to take the boat.

Jan will remain at your disposal by phone or by mail for the duration of your stay at the Villa Belò.

Portal of entry

The portal ofentry to the property is automatic and is controlled with the
remote controls supplied on 2 sets of keys.
To open the portal, it is the left button (indicated with the dot in pink).
The portal closes all alone at the end of 1 min, useless topress it again.
On the keychain there are also a key to the gate pedestrian.

When you come out of the property, on the right pillar inside is a push button (1) which opens the portal.
In case of a problem or power failure, release the arm of the portal by unscrewing the black knob (2) from under the arm to open up the doors. to Prevent Jan from this operation.

Please ensure that the door and the portal is closed in the evening as there may be some wild boars that roam the night, they are greedy and return to the earth in search of food.

Use of the VMC

The VMC is no air conditioning but a refresh for Villa Belò be environmentally friendly and respects nature.

TIPS To USE
The house stays naturally cool even in summer heat.
It is enough to refresh at the end of the day, to spend the night in the cool.

The day : mode Ventilation (1)
In the end of the day : to 17 h for example, set mode Cooling (2)
To 22 h : re – Ventilation (1) for not having the noise at night.
The night : put the fans in the rooms in Speed 1 (the lowest) to obtain a small current of air, and no noise to sleep.
Check the direction of rotation to smell the air below the fan.

The Villa Belò has drinking water

On the island of La Maddalena, the tap water is not potable, and the large majority of people consume water bottles purchased at the supermarket.
In order to avoid this constraint, a water treatment system is installed, equipped with a filter, and equipment in the UV, which is of potential bacteria.

Sinks in kitchens, bathrooms and showers are on the filtration system.
Only the water from the shower to the sea and the outside tap is not treated.

The organic waste is put in a compost bin that is located behind the house, down to the shelter to drive.

All that is recyclable (plastic, cardboard, glass, cans, metal) is a separate collection “Secco“. The plastic bags that contain the sort should not be black, but transparencies. need to be hung in the evening the trash grey hook to the outside of the portal, with it inside the plastic bag containing the sort.

The other solution is to go and leave your garbage bins directly to the recycling centre, 400 m from the Villa Belò (open all day and Saturday morning). > route
on The day of your departure : leave the bags with the sort under the pergola and at the check-out we will take care of thedisposal of these wastes.

How to cut electricity and water

In case ofemergency, the general cut ofelectricity is to theoutside of the property on the right out. The counter of the Villa Belò is to the right.

The inlet valve general ofwater is also found outside, in the road to the right of the portal on the way out, at the foot of the wall.
