An exceptional environment

The Maddalena archipelago is located on the north-east coast of Sardinia, off the costa Smeralda. Formed when the tectonic movements have separated Sardinia from Corsica, it is composed of seven islands and a sixty rocky islets.
This is one of the paradise of Sardinia, composed of “seven sisters“ : The Maddalena, Caprera, Spargi, Santo Stefano, Budelli, Santa Maria and Razzolli.

With its coastline of 180 km of coastline to the scenery amazing, granite rocks and beaches of crystal clear waters, the archipelago became in 1994, the first National Park Géomarin created in Sardinia and one of the most preserved.

Ranging from turquoise blue to emerald green, the colours of the sea were shades beautiful. The white-sand coves contrast with the incredible shapes the granite boulders sculpted by the wind, and the bush that surrounds it.

In addition to its wealth of environmental, natural, the la Maddalena archipelago also has a historical and cultural heritage important. In fact, personalities such as Napoleon, Horacio Nelson, Guiuseppe Garibaldi, Andrea des Geneys or Domenico Millelire are part of the history of the islands.
